The Workflow

How JayQu works

Capture the encounter. Generate the draft. Review it. Finalize it. Move the approved documentation into the clinical system your organization already uses.

  1. Step 1:

    Start the encounter

Authenticate and begin a documentation session.

  2. Step 2:

    Capture the conversation

With applicable consent addressed, JayQu securely captures the clinical encounter.

  3. Step 3:

    Transcribe

The conversation is processed into clinical text, with speaker-aware processing where applicable.

  4. Step 4:

    Generate

JayQu creates a structured draft note using the encounter transcript and authorized context.

  5. Step 5:

    Review

The clinician reviews, edits, removes, rejects, or regenerates content.

  6. Step 6:

    Finalize

    The clinician approves the documentation.

  7. Step 7:

    Move into the clinical workflow

The approved documentation can then be copied, exported, or integrated into the organization's designated clinical system.

The EHR or EMR remains the system of record.

Human in the Loop

The clinician remains the author.

JayQu assists with clinical documentation. Generated content remains a draft until reviewed by the clinician. Clinicians can edit, remove, reject, or regenerate content before finalization.

Clinical decisions remain with the clinician.

Explicit draft state

Generated documentation is a draft until the clinician finalizes it.

Clinician review

The clinician reviews generated content before anything is finalized.

Edit

Change any part of the generated documentation.

Reject

Remove content that does not belong in the note.

Regenerate

Ask JayQu to generate content again.

Final approval

Only clinician-approved documentation is finalized.

Integration

Works with your clinical systems.

JayQu is designed to complement existing clinical systems, not replace them. Organizations can begin with a simple standalone documentation workflow and evolve toward deeper integrations where appropriate.

JayQu is designed to support the documentation workflow around the systems healthcare organizations already use. The clinician reviews and finalizes the generated documentation, and the approved note can then be transferred into the organization's designated clinical system.

JayQu supports the documentation workflow. Your EHR remains the system of record.
